Ethics & Guardrails

These are not marketing lines. They are operating rules, and they do not bend for any client or any fee.

Lawful collection, only

We collect information only from sources we may lawfully access. We do not gain unauthorised access to any system or account. We do not intercept private communications. We do not deploy malware, and we do not circumvent anyone's lawful security. If evidence cannot be gathered lawfully, it is not gathered.

Evidence with integrity

Evidence is collected, hashed and preserved so that it means something in court — under the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam's requirements for electronic records. We do not fabricate, exaggerate or "improve" evidence. Ever.

Enforcement through counsel

We supply intelligence and evidence. Legal enforcement — injunctions, takedown litigation, criminal complaints — is pursued by clients through qualified legal counsel. We support counsel; we do not act as one.

Free expression stays free

We target commercial theft, deception and impersonation — not opinion. Satire, parody, criticism, fan art and journalism are not our targets, even when a client dislikes them. We decline requests to suppress lawful speech.

Political neutrality

We provide deepfake defense and protective services to public figures across the political spectrum, without affiliation, endorsement or discrimination. We do not create, spread or assist with political disinformation for anyone — including our own clients.

Minors are protected, never surveilled

Work touching a child's safety happens only with a lawful guardian's authorisation and never beyond it. Children of clients are protected persons in our work, not subjects of it.

Privacy of everyone involved

Personal data we handle in the course of work is processed under India's DPDP Act — collected for a purpose, kept as long as needed for that purpose, and destroyed when it is not. That applies to subjects of investigations too.

We say no

We decline work that requires breaking these rules. We also decline clients who ask us to. There is no fee at which the answer changes.
